Every Thought Matters
As a person thinketh, so are they indeed
Thinking is the most important part of being alone or with others. The subtext of this article’s title is from Marcus Aurelius (Roman Emperor from 161 to 180 AD).
According to many, one of the most significant quotes of all time is:
“You Must Be The Change You Wish To See In The World.” — Ghandi
How about the change for or in you? Here’s a thought, how long does it take for a thought to become an action?
Most of us have had good and bad thoughts. We’ve thought of destroying things almost as much as we’ve thought of making something better.
Is there a right way to think? Is there a wrong way? Yes and no. Let’s look at what controls your thoughts. If you’re thinking it’s your brain, you’re right and wrong.
Once we think something through, our decision thought will guide our actions.
Here’s a simple exercise
Think of something you want to change. It can be an attitude, repetitive experience, relationship, or outcome. How long is it from the thought of what to do until the time you actually make the change? That’s right, it can be accomplished in nanoseconds.
Hello, I’m DR Rawson and I’ve been asked by our Editor, Nancy Blackman to produce an article every Thursday. The topic is thoughts. Thoughts have been so important in my life. I hope to share some life-altering moments and thoughts from experiences gained around the world. I hope you’ll join me on Thursdays. Feedback is always important and wanted. Let’s have some fun, shall we?
