Hello Jillian, Thank you for taking the time to write this article. I love it when I can better understand the world around us. The article means something to me. Just to know there's a community waiting for me is such a relief.

I lost the hearing in my right ear in the Air Force in Vietnam. Since then, my left is continues to decline. I'm wearing double hearing aides but still fail to hear a lot of what goes on around me.
