It's crucial to remember that understanding cultural differences is a journey, not a destination. It's not about expecting someone of a different cultural background to 'get it right' immediately, but about fostering empathy and respect as we all learn and grow together.

It is wonderful to have a name that ties you to your culture or roots, as mine does for me. But communication is key. In the spirit of communication, the use of Simon is obviously better.
