It's a fantastic article and certainly a great place to start.

Something to think about: I love watching people react to each other. I have traveled around the world many times and have seen this phenomenon in every country. It wasn't until I read this article that I realized the answer (in a minute).

I've seen very tall women with short men and, of course, vice versa. I've seen my definition of not very attractive with drop-dead George's partners.

In other words, thousands of combinations.

I have a daughter that met her husband when she weighted over 400 lbs. So did he.

She is 5'10" and he's 5'7"

Today, they are still the same height but she weighs around 225 and he weights about 150 ish.

He's in-house counsel for a major Fortune 500 company, and she's a real estate executive for a firm that covers our state.

She's from one group; he's from another. She's from this country, and he's from another.

Her primary language is English. His is Spanish.

Their four children are amazing: two brilliant girls and two twin boys who each want to be attorneys like their dad.

What does that say? You draw your own conclusions.

Here's my takeaway:

COMMUNICATION. PERSONALITY, INTERESTS, LIKES, etc. These create a lasting relationship. NOT sex. At some point, children and sex both leave. You'd better know who you are and be each other's best friend and in love, or you'll never make it.
