LIN, It is right to mourn the loss of a pet we love so much. I'm a little older than you, and I can tell you that if you have the love to get a pet, this may not be your last heartache. We have two options with pets: We can enjoy them or love them. We can also do both. If we love them, we're going to give them all that they need or want and more. That's totally O.K.

In Shadow's case, you give all that you have. No matter what we're talking about, if you give all that you have, you've done everything you can do.
