Do you want to hear a story?
You know, the thing about giraffes is that they are tall. How tall? I’m twenty-two feet tall or equalivant to the length of an old Cadillac.
I’ll also bet you didn’t know that we have a small brain, but we’re very smart.
Just like that, you found out two things you didn’t know.
You may have noticed that I wear glasses. From the time I learned to read, I used to read under the covers. I’m twelve now. I can read anywhere I want. Reading makes me smart.
Hey, you want to learn about people? They are so interesting.
Sometimes my friends and I stand and look through this fence with holes everywhere. Actually, I’m tall, so that I can see over it. I think the people call it chain link; anyway, my best friend Larry the Hippo says they never take baths. Really? Wait, just because you’ve never seen them take a bath doesn’t mean they don’t bathe. Right? Larry lowered his head like he was going to pray and said, yes.”
