My Biggest Risk In Business

Why was it?

The very first of the companies that I started, purchased, or took over from someone is where the risk was ever-present. The courage came from my life experience as a homeless boy. If I could rise above that, I could succeed at almost anything.

The deal was they would pay all the company and personal expenses. If I failed, I’d have to pay it all back. If I succeeded, I would still pay it back.

I was fortunate that I sold the company for a very high multiple because of contracts with Disney World and others. The money I made from this sale financed my next business.
