People of any type tend to live within a circle that includes people like them. I was a homeless kid. I can assure, there were NO rich kids that wanted to hang out with us.

Our discussions were about how to get or make money. About how others tried this or that and didn't make it.

It's a myth that others, especially your peers want you to succeed.

If, you're poor and you want to succeed, you're going to have to start to do a lot of research. When I was a kid, this man showed what others had done and how they did it. Horatio Alger is where I developed the attitude that "if they could do it, so could I."
