Terry, You've done a great job of digging into ASI and the comparison to AI. This is a scary read but it could have a positive end, if there's a check and balance system that's applied to the development and implementation of this technology. We're struggling with AI now for the same reason.

The superpower of ASI clearly demonstrates the need for control. Otherwise, it will be making life-and-death decisions based on its own set of instincts.
