Thank you for bringing this topic up. However, I don't believe that we need to forget anything. Good and bad experiences have the power to teach.

Living as a homeless child at the age of ten was awful. Now, as a retired entrepreneur, I can see where that pain helped me and also made me fearless.

No matter what I tried to do in life; if I failed, it still wasn't as bad as being homeless.

When I've experienced loss, it triggers the search for why, even if it's painful.
