There Is A Notion That Everyone Is Different
Do you think it’s true or false?
As a small boy, I didn’t care if there were other people like me or not. My sister, 14 months younger than me, looked and acted like me. People thought we were twins.
It wasn’t until I was eighteen that I noticed that everyone was different. In Reno (1968), the group I was with and I saw my doppelganger. We could have been twins. As a father, I watched as kids wanted to be like each other. It’s harmless, but it is a way for them to tell others they belong here. These are my people.
In the early seventies, I learned that a scarf worn in a certain way told others that you were part of a group (or gang) and that you subscribed to the same morals and values.
At the end of 2022, our population (world) was projected to be 8 billion. The vast majority of the people were on three continents.
Here’s another notion
You be you because everyone else is taken. You be you, and you’ll be the only person you are. Being you will ensure that you are unique and definitely YOU.
Summary
Anyone can imitate another person. If you do that, you’ll miss being you!
