FRIDAY NOTIONS
There Is A Notion That It Doesn't Matter
Try selling that to someone without food, a roof over their head, or that has just lost a foot to diabetes.
If you can eat whatever you want, does someone without food matter? Why?
If your health is good and someone else's is not, does the health of someone else matter? Why?
Suppose you do something nice for someone and they don't appreciate it. Does it mean you don't matter? Why?
WHY
Why don't we have thoughts about others' needs as much as we do our own?
Why don't we see those in need? Is it because they don't matter? Why?
CHANGE
If you've ever gone hungry, you would understand how those that are without food feel.
You understand those in pain when you've suffered physical or mental trauma.
Does it matter if you do something for someone and they don’t acknowledge it?
The notion that IT doesn't matter is false. Everyone matters. When you help someone, it's a double blessing—one for them and one for you. When children are bored, ask them to serve (help) someone else. Should we consider approaching life with the attitude:
"You can have everything in life you want, if you’’ll help enough other people get what they need (or want)"
— Zig Ziglar
In other words, you can refresh someone's soul, and as a bonus, you will also refresh your soul.
WE ALL MATTER.
