Time

Do you have more or less of it?

You can never replace the time you’ve lost.

However, I know you’ve met those people that believe you can. So they stay up later, get up earlier, or spend extra time (robbing time even more). It is the one thing we can’t make more of whenever we wish.

I became obsessed with time when I thought I would die at age 42, like my father before me. But, frankly, I was also rude to anyone that I felt was wasting my time.

I started collecting clocks in my thirties. I felt that I always wanted to recognize the value of time. Today, I have seventeen clocks in my office. I have more than fifty clocks throughout our home, patio, and garage. In addition, before I met my wife (of twenty-eight years) and my life changed significantly, I also collected pocket and wrist watches.

At age fifty-six, my wife gave me the one watch I had wanted all my life. I still wear it every day.

You can NEVER replace time, but you can better use your time.

I have six children; of them, only two respect the value of their time. The others feel as though they are young and have lots of time. If they waste some, so what? There’s more where that came from. Not really!!
