What Does The Notion Of Carpe Momentum Mean To You?

Seize the moment or, in Latin, carpe momentum. The language of Latin stopped being spoken by other than the Catholic Church and medical and pharmacy schools some years ago. I've always thought that because it isn't spoken, the fact that a critical notion or idea is expressed in Latin makes it sound even more important.

Carpe Momentum

Most of us have a hard enough time getting through the day to think about celebrating the moment. The day has lots of moments strung together to make the day. I've had bad days, but there was always a moment that usually made the day's experience worthwhile.

A moment can be a single or straightforward thought that passes through your mind while experiencing something completely different than the present experience suggests. These "moments" can be good or bad. They can be informative, instructive, humorous, happy, or even sad. They can represent the best or the worst part of your minute, hour, day, week, month, or year.
