Pro vs. Con

Most of us love changing leaves. There are millions spent each year to see the leaves fall in the New England states. However, for most of us, it’s problematic. Instead of nicely manicured lawns, they have leaves all over them.

Now for the actual point

Most of us put off change and then when they do change, their comment is something like this: “We should have done that some time ago.”

Change must NEVER be for the sake of change. It must have a benefit! As you think about the proposed changes in your life, they probably fall into one of these buckets:

  • It’s an annoyance
  • It’s from someone I don’t respect, so why would I do it
  • It came from my son or daughter. They just want me to change. Hum
  • I don’t see the benefit. (Perhaps it was poorly explained)
  • I think we should implement this change immediately

Everyone has filters through which every change or potential change must pass. When was the last time you reviewed your personal “change filters?”

By refreshing the soul, we expect a different outcome. This can help.
