Wisdom — The Begining
Really?
This might be true if you’re prepared to give these men credit. However, what about your child, parents, friends, classmates, teachers, professors, celebrities, writers, and authors over centuries?
What of the men and women that came before these men?
God is often given credit as the source of all wisdom. What of men like King Solomon, Hebrew (Proverbs). Within Islam, great wisdom came from the Prophet Mohamad and Rumi, the Islamic Jurist, to name but two. Rumi’s poetry continues to inspire us today.
In Hinduism, Swami Vivekananda is celebrated as a beacon of wisdom. Other groups include Mormonism, their Prophet Joseph Smith, the hundreds of Prophets, and others who have provided leadership over the years.
Every religion views the Rabbi, Prophet, Swami, leader, Minister, Pope, Cardinal, etc., as a person of wisdom. We’ve all benefited from the wisdom they’ve imparted.
By now, we should have firmly established the truth that wisdom is everywhere. It is not a one-size or source-fits-all all. Nor is it singularly focused on spirituality, raising children, relationships, business, or auto mechanics. Again, wisdom is all around us.
