You were born to be a leader
Is there a better job?
Many men look to this man for strength and courage to lead. He may be the best we’ve ever had in America; some say he was just O.K.; he could have and should have done much more. The debate will continue as long as “we” breathe. This is just one of many things that make our nation great.
Washington is an example for us all. He did not have the experience or tenure like Gen. Cornwallis of England. So, as a leader, every day, he made the best decisions he could, based on his own experience, his counselors', and others' advice. One thing has always been true of Americans. If you pick a topic, there are as many opinions as there are Americans.
George Washington and everyone we think of as leaders, including Mom and Dad, always make split-second decisions. Some decisions are spot on. Some may have been spot on but delivered inappropriately. We look at these men and women, and we expect their leadership.
